Richard Scudder ™A self-taught photographer and native of California, Richard Scudder is best known for his vast catalog of work as a top still photographer in the motion picture and entertainment industry with over three decades of experience behind the camera. A proud member of the prestigious International Cinematographers Guild, his work frequently appears on popular television programs and on the covers of magazines around the world. Noteworthy shoots include Gian Franco Ferre, John Paul Mitchell, Gianni Versace, Bon Jovi, Def Leppard, President Bill Clinton and Soviet Union President Boris Yeltsin for the Vancouver summit, and the 2004 Academy Awards (House of Blues). Others include a long line up of diverse Hollywood icons and insiders who have all posed for Richard's camera during their careers. Richard Scudder has directed cinematography for over 20 music videos including "It all comes back to me...", "Hold On", "Lost", "Stay Gold", "I'm you're Rock n' Roll Tonight", "Getting Over You", "Jersey Girl", "How Many Times?", "Once Again", "Emmy", "Don't Let Go", "The Hurt Inside", and "We Won". Richard Scudder has also directed cinematography for the motion picture presentation "An American Rock Star", which he both wrote and produced. Scudder's skills as a photographer are seamless from still photography to motion picture cinematography, including both 35mm film and high resolution digital. He is regularly seen with camera in hand making television appearances on such shows as America's Next Top Model and Saving Grace, and has photographed for shows Criminal Minds and Cane.
